Somerset County,
Pennsylvania,
United States. The population was 168 at the 2000 census. It is part of the
Johnstown, Pennsylvania Metropolitan Statistical Area.

New Baltimore is located at (39.983808, -78.772154).
According to the
United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.3
square miles (0.8
km²), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the
census of 2000, there were 168 people, 66 households, and 48 families residing in the borough. The
population density was 531.7 people per square mile (202.7/km²). There were 75 housing units at an average density of 237.4/sq mi (90.5/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 96.43%
White and 3.57%
Asian.
There were 66 households out of which 31.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.2% were
married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.8% were non-families. 22.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 2.92.
In the borough the population was spread out with 22.6% under the age of 18, 4.8% from 18 to 24, 30.4% from 25 to 44, 25.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 104.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 109.7 males.
The median income for a household in the borough was $30,000, and the median income for a family was $37,500. Males had a median income of $27,500 versus $22,031 for females. The
per capita income for the borough was $14,552. About 8.0% of families and 5.8% of the population were below the
poverty line, including 9.3% of those under the age of eighteen and 5.9% of those sixty five or over.
